The Design and Mechanisms of the URWP & the EU Cybersecurity Certification Framework Under the CSA (B11b)

The first URWP is expected to be be made public in Q1 of 2021. In this presentation, the process of the design will be explained and the involvement of the SCCG and the ECCG in the design process. The URWP is a living document that will be subject to changes over time. Although it formally has a life-cycle of three years the CSA foresees in several mechanisms that influence this life-cycle. Looking more closely to the URWP and the EU Cybersecurity Certification Framework (EUCCF) there is an interconnection between both. Schemes that are developed and approved flow into the EUCCF, schemes that are placed under review flow back into the URWP, creating a system of check and balances that is over arched by strategic principles.
