Scaling Security Testing for IoT Firmware (I13b)
Through the European Union’s initiative, the CyberAct strives to bolster trust in digital systems by mandating security verifications. Consequently, numerous industries will be required to embed security verifications into their processes. As a result, there is a pressing demand for the scaling of security testing. In the absence of a robust ecosystem for security verification, the initial aspirations may encounter significant hurdles. During this talk, a new way to perform verification testing for IoT firmware will be introduced. This is an automated process that leverages an innovative technique for dynamic analysis. It can be integrated into a development cycle and can act like a validation step before the firmware goes into production.
