The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) ASBL is a fully self-financed non-for-profit organisation under the Belgian law, established in June 2016.

The Common Criteria Users Forum (CCUF) was founded in 2012 and is a community based around those using the Common Criteria and ISO/IEC 15408 standards. The Common Criteria Users’ Forum mission is to provide a voice and communications channel between the CC community and the CC organizational committees, CC evaluation schemes, and policy makers. GlobalPlatform is a non-profit industry association driven by approximately 100 member companies. Members share a common goal to develop GlobalPlatform’s specifications, which are today highly regarded as the international standard for enabling digital services and devices to be trusted and securely managed throughout their lifecycle. GlobalPlatform protects digital services by standardizing and certifying a security hardware/firmware combination, known as a secure component, which acts as an on-device trust anchor. This facilitates collaboration between service providers and device manufacturers, empowering them to ensure the right level of security within all devices to protect against threats. Market sectors adopting GlobalPlatform technology include automotive, healthcare, government and enterprise ID, payments, premium content, smart cities, smart home, telecoms, transportation, and utilities.

The MULTOS Consortium is an open, membership body dedicated to the development and promotion of MULTOS as the highest security global standard for smart cards.

Membership of the Consortium is available on a non-discriminatory basis to any company or organisation that wishes to sign up to the membership agreement and pay the annual membership fee. Most members are technology suppliers to or customers of the smart card industry, however the membership also includes systems integrators and consultants from the wider Information Technology sector. There are two main objectives for the member-driven activities within The MULTOS Consortium, specification development and product marketing. The Consortium has a strong customer and member-driven approach to both activities. Our philosophy is based on delivering a MULTOS technology platform that meets customer needs, allows competitive supply of products and services and that then further evolves to meet emerging and future customer requirements, followed by joint marketing of products and solutions of all members. There is a continuous programme of different member activities to support this approach.

The organisation promotes the essential role of a tamper resistant secure hardware component in delivering secure applications and services across all devices that can access wireless networks. SIMalliance facilitates and accelerates delivery of secure connected services globally.

SIMalliance members represent 90% of the global SIM card market. As such, the SIMalliance’s membership is responsible for delivering the most widely distributed secure application delivery platform in the world (UICC/SIM/USIM).
