Certification Strategies for Global Cybersecurity Compliance in IoT (T11a)
The number of IoT devices, services, and deployments is skyrocketing, and it is critical to ensure that IoT ecosystems are secure given the significant impact a security breach would have. At the same time, there is a growing number of cybersecurity compliance requirements from regulatory entities, industry organizations, and private companies, creating challenges for IoT manufacturers and developers. This talk from DEKRA helps IoT stakeholders navigate the global ecosystem of IoT cybersecurity certifications, including the EU RED Delegated Act, the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act, the UK PSTI, the US IoT Security Trust Mark, Singapore CLS, CSA IoT Device Security, and others. The talk aims to achieve the objective of testing once and reusing results as much as possible, keeping all components of the IoT ecosystem (devices, platforms, and applications) in mind.
