Competency Determination for CSA and Beyond (S11b)
For successful conformity assessment competent personnel is a key prerequisite but in theory and practice this remains challenging. Based on more than 20 years experience, this talk will show how competence requirements are defined in standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 19896-3 for EUCC or EN 18072 for the Cloud scheme), are demonstrated in practice for lots of domains in BSI’s recognition scheme and how future CSA schemes as well as notified bodies within the CRA might verify the competency of personnel.
