Criteria for Assurance in Developer Processes (S13d)

To speed up the assessment of the IT-security of both the cyber product and the building blocks used in the product, it is important to check the credentials of the people who designed or developed the building blocks and to streamline supply chain documentation. We will explore how qualified developers can be used as means of test reduction to ensure product security whilst still satisfying the CRA and why a quality system is essential to establish credibility in the EUCC process.

Attendees will:
– Learn how developer qualification schemes help satisfy CRA criteria and streamline security evaluations.
– Understand how quality systems integrate into the EUCC assurance process and support scaling certification.
– See an example of how the European microelectronics chain is preparing for CRA and EUCC compliance by documenting developer qualifications early.
