EU IoT: Why We Will Need FITCEM and SESIP (S20a)
Large parts of the industry are waiting eagerly for the creation of a European IoT scheme since early publication of the CSA. Now that work will soon start this talk will explore why a scheme based on a single standard will not be sufficient for a successful EU IoT scheme. To keep costs for IoT OEMs and hence consumers bearable the acceptance of other evaluation results will be key when assessing an end product. The talk will further explore how cybersecurity standards for Industrial IoT, for Automotive, for consumer IoT and for high assurance components can link together, for instance at the substantial level.
