How to Apply Pre-Silicon Testing in Certification? (T20a)
This talk will first explain the industry need to shift security testing for certification to the left. There is too much risk in not getting products certified in time when all testing is performed after tape-out (i.e. on silicon). Secondly this talk will show results from pre-silicon testing and how it compares to silicon test results. It will discuss how to approach attack rating of pre-silicon testing in the context of certification. Finally, next steps are presented.
