Opportunities and Challenges With the CRA from a Manufacturer’s Perspective (T20c)
For product manufacturers, the proposed European cybersecurity regulation for digital connected devices (CRA) will have significant impacts on their product development, manufacturing, operating, and service processes. This talk aims to provide a first overview on the chances and opportunities that we see with the CRA from a manufacturer’s perspective (e.g., horizontal approach). However, this talk also aims to provide some first hints on potential challenges and hurdles manufacturers may face in applying the CRA (e.g., interplay with other regulations) and what we would suggest instead.
