Panel Discussion: Horizontal Regulation on IoT—CSA Implementation Too Late? (P23a)

Conclusions of the EU-Council, EU-Parliament, and President von der Leyen on the necessity of Cyber Resilience indicate the need to detach Cybersecurity from vertical regulation to address today‚ as issues more efficiently and more effectively.
The EU commission has put forward a working plan on ‚ Europe fit for the Digital Age‚ including the European Cyber Resilience Act and the European chips act. The CSA will play a role in ensuring cybersecurity in a horizontal approach. But considering the state of the RED DA and other NLF regulation and further no CSA Scheme being in production, yet, how can the EU Cyber Resilience Act be shaped and how can CSA and NLF converge? Panelists from EU COM, Industry, Consumer Representatives, and NCCAs can lead an enlightening discussion on how to bring CSA into horizontal regulation.
