Master in computer science by the Polytechnic University of Madrid (www.upm.es), CISA, he has worked in areas related to the information system development, safety software certification in the scope of aerospace/aeronautical technologies, IT system and product security evaluation under ITSEC and CC standards and FIPS 140-3 conformance testing of cryptographic modules.

With more than 20 years of experience in this field, and having headed up the cybersecurity division of DEKRA Testing and Certification which holds the accredited cybersecurity assessment facilities for Common Criteria, ISO 19790, FIPS 140-3, SESIP and GSMA NESAS, he currently leads the strategy and business development at DEKRA Cybersecurity Hub and is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of DEKRA’s CSH Cybersecurity Conformity Assessment Bodies being the director of the accredited Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for the European EIDAS and EUCC regulations.

He is a frequent contributor and speaker at the International Cybersecurity Conferences, and an active member of WGs at ENISA, ETSI, IEC EE and GSMA, and of the CTN 320 mirror committee of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC27 WG 3.
