Martin Chapman

Martin has over 30 year’s experience in ICT standardisation and technology, having spent the previous 19 years at Oracle Ireland.

Before that, Martin worked for a number of Irish start-ups after several years at BT in the UK.

Martin applies his expertise to the interplay between technology, legislation, standards and compliance.

He has been a member of ENISA’s Stakeholder Cybersecurity Certification Group and the EU Commission’s Multi-stakeholder platform for ICT Standardisation.

Martin holds a Ph.D. in Distributed Computing from Oxford Brookes University and Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Data Processing from Loughborough University, UK.
