Matthias Brickel

Track Moderator Matthias C. Brickel is the Global Commercial Business Manager at PQShield, an expert in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and cybersecurity. He works across strategic, commercial, and policy dimensions to advance the global transition to quantum-safe cryptography. With a background in technology strategy and entrepreneurship, he contributes to the international development of quantum-safe technologies through cross-sector engagement and thought leadership. Matthias has been invited to speak at major international cybersecurity and technology conferences, and held various roles in financial markets, consulting, and international non-profit leadership. He holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Oxford and studied at leading business schools in Europe and the Americas.
