Philippe Proust

Philippe Proust is Security Director at Thales  and board member of Eurosmart. Graduated from ENISMAG , a French “Grande Ecole” in the fields of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, and from MBA of Aix-En-Provence, Philippe has 35 years of professional experience, all in the field of cybersecurity.

During his career, Philippe worked on the cybersecurity of numerous use cases in mobile communications, digital identity, payment, automotive, defense systems… He established labs with ethical hacking capabilities, oversaw the development of tamper-proof cryptographic libraries, provided secure design templates for mobile apps, strengthened the security of cloud-native technologies, OSes, Hypervisors…

Through his role as a member of Eurosmart, Philippe is regularly in contact with the commission, ENISA, NCCAs, etc. regarding Cyber​​regulations (CSA, CRA, eIDAS, AI Act…). He has always advocated the implementation of pragmatic requirements guaranteeing an adequate level of security at the right cost.
