Biography
Rachel Menda-Shabat is the VP of Certification at Winbond, with over 15 years of experience in security product development and global certification. She is responsible for the security certification strategy of Winbond products and has overseen multiple international certifications, including Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, and SESIP. Her expertise is based on early involvement in TPM product definitions starting in 2000.
Over the past decade, Rachel has led technical groups and activities at GlobalPlatform and Eurosmart and has actively participated in ISO and CEN/CENELEC working groups. Her work includes involvement in European cybersecurity certification and regulatory frameworks, including EUCC and the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), as well as ongoing activities related to automotive cybersecurity, including security requirements and certification approaches for connected and embedded systems.
